The Business Model Canvas (BMC) is a strategic management tool that helps businesses visualize, design, and analyze their business models.

It’s a one-page document that works through the fundamental elements of a business or product.

The Business Model Canvas (BMC) has nine essential parts:

1. Customer Segments
2. Value Proposition
3. Revenue Streams
4. Channels
5. Customer Relationships
6. Key Activities
7. Key Resources
8. Key Partners
9. Cost Structure

The Business Model Canvas (BMC) is divided into four major categories :

A) Infrastructure: The things needed to run the business, such as people, processes, technology, and partners.

B) Offering: The value offered by the business.

C) Customers: How the business interacts with its customers?

D) Finances : What are your costs and how do you bring in money?

The Business Model Canvas (BMC) can be used by any company, from a one-person startup to a multi-national company.

Some of its common applications include business planning, value propositions and modeling.
